Honorable Mention: The looks they give each other when they sing
Whether it’s Quinn and Rachel or really just Dianna and Lea, there’s something between the two of them and it shows every single time they sing. The way I see it is if the people behind the editing didn’t want to show the interaction between the girls, they could cut those glances and smiles and handholds out. But they don’t. Those moments are all canon. Faberry is canon. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

1.) “It matches my eyes.” | 2x20
My absolute favorite moments between my OTP are the gardenia scenes. Rachel had stated before that she’s very specific when she gives a gift. When she tells Finn what corsage to give Quinn even though he didn’t specifically ask her, boy is she. “Just get her something simple…a wrist corsage. Girls like Quinn…you don’t want to do anything that’s going to distract from their face so ask for a gardenia. With a, with a light green ribbon wrapped around it to match her eyes. Okay?” Now I don’t know about you guys but I don’t typically pay that close attention to detail unless I’m trying really hard to make someone happy and/or I’m into them. But why would Rachel be concerned about the happiness of a person who she isn’t going to prom with nor will she be seen with? Why be so specific? Why a gardenia of all corsages? Regardless of why, Rachel ends up being spot-on with her choice and Finn gladly takes the credit Quinn happily gives out. How would Quinn react if she knew Rachel was the one to thoughtfully pick out her beautiful eye-matching wrist corsage? I guess we’ll never know. Quinn loved it though and she picked up on the tiny detail Rachel was trying to emphasize immediately after the box was opened. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

2.) “I have hurt so many people.” 1x13 / “At least you don’t have to be terrified all the time.” 2x20
Rachel’s priorities are…definitely something that keeps me interested in Faberry. Twice Finn has made a scene that resulted in Quinn fleeing to be alone and twice Rachel has followed her instead of Finn to apologize and/or comfort. Shouldn’t she go to comfort Finn, the guy she likes/loves instead? And the best part in my opinion is that Quinn admits she was in the wrong even though what Rachel did was shady and she says she’s not mad at her. Prom Queen’s moment broke down differently but ended up with the same result. In the end, Quinn let down her walls in front of Rachel and confessed something she’d been hiding from the rest of the world, and Rachel was there to be whatever Quinn needed her to be: someone to listen, to just be there for her, and/or to tell her she has nothing to be scared of. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

3.) The Rachel Drawing | 1x15
This was a big turning point for a lot of Faberry shippers from what I’ve been told. Ask anyone about “the Rachel drawing” and Quinn’s poorly drawn sketch automatically comes to mind. Quinn draws Rachel a lot. That’s no secret. Let’s just pretend for a moment that that’s normal behavior and not at all like a little boy with a crush. We have a hurtful caricature of Rachel Berry (and her name written on the side) and one Rachel Berry watching herself being drawn. Some say this isn’t love. The 20+ hearts drawn all around her beg to differ. The Kurt + Blaine heart doodle in Silly Love Songs is strikingly similar and we all know how Kurt felt about Blaine while drawing it. Platonic or hateful feelings don’t result in hearts. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

4.) “Glee club gets a full-page photo.” | 1x12
Everyone following me knows the yearbook chat Quinn and Sue have in Mattress is my favorite Quinn scene. It’s also one of my favorite Faberry scenes. Not only does Quinn finally stand up for herself and admit that glee club makes her happier than cheerleading ever did, she, in a way, also stands up for Rachel. She uses her ability to manipulate to make Sue give up a page in the yearbook to the club. The only person in the club who wanted a picture in the first place was Rachel. The rest of the club didn’t want one at all. But Quinn will do anything to make Rachel happy, it seems. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

5.) I Feel Pretty/Unpretty | 2x18
There’s quite a bit to say about the entire song so I’ll just stick to them performing in the room, in front of everyone. Notice how identical to Santana’s and Brittany’s performance this is. It’s a very personal moment for both Rachel and Quinn and for whatever reason they decided to sing together. Why they decided to share this emotional moment with one another—why Quinn agreed to sing with Rachel in the first place despite her own past haunting her isn’t explained. The soft smile Quinn gives nervous-looking Rachel at the end kills me though. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

6.) “I said what you wanted me to. He shot me down.” | 2x02
My personal favorite underrated Faberry scene would have to be the brief “Finn trust test” Faberry scene in Britney/Brittany. Quinn, acting or not, puts her heart on her sleeve to ask Finn if they can get back together…fulfilling a request from Rachel. Her heart is broken after getting shot down and it shows on her face but if it’s for Rachel… I imagine Quinn thinking, ‘Okay. Sure, let me just take another blow to my self-esteem if it’ll set you at ease and make you feel loved. Screw my own feelings.’ Quinn had no clear motivation for doing this favor and she got nothing in return. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

7.) “You can’t hate me.” | 2x16
Everyone knows this is a selfish Quinn moment. She’s speaking/shouting to scare Rachel off so she can keep Finn, win Prom Queen, and live a mediocre life with him. Everyone also knows Rachel is being her stubborn self and doesn’t take anything Quinn says to heart until the last minute or so of the conversation. But Quinn says something that I can’t overlook. “You don’t belong here Rachel, and you can’t hate me for helping to send you on your way.” She makes clear that she won’t be leaving Lima but that Rachel needs to because she knows Rachel is destined to be a star. But the most important point of all? She can’t hate Quinn. Why would Quinn tell Rachel—practically beg her—not to? Why does she care what the girl trying to steal her boyfriend thinks of her? If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

8.) “We’re about to have a smack-down.” | 1x07
The sexual tension in this scene speaks for itself. Eye-fucking and arm-grabbing. And personal space? No such thing. Look at their body language and try to tell me it’s nothing. If that isn’t love the desire to get freaky in the nearest janitor’s closet, I don’t know what is.

9.) “No one at glee is going to judge you.” | 1x06
Quinn was more or less done with glee club. She’d already stopped going. A girl trying to steal another girl’s boyfriend wouldn’t normally try to convince the girlfriend to come back. But Rachel did. Quinn had been nothing but horrible to her, yet she insisted that Quinn come back and that she wouldn’t face judgment if she did. And let’s not forget, “I don’t hate you.” Rachel then tells her pre-labeled enemy that they can relate. And for humorous reasons or not, the writers slipped in a gay subtext joke that verifies the possibility of this relationship. Finally, Rachel tells Quinn that the club could use her voice, that she‘s a good singer, and that she’ll have fun. She wants Quinn to have fun even though she knows Quinn doesn‘t like her. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

10.) Keep Holding On | 1x07
At Quinn’s lowest point, Rachel was there to pick her up the best way she knew how: by singing a song with the message she wanted to convey. Even as she was chasing Quinn’s boyfriend, she was by Quinn’s side and tending to her. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.
